My Best Kept Cooking Secret: Livia’s Seasoning Salt + Giveaway!

Here it is… if you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen my post earlier about my all time favorite seasoning! It was given to me in the fall of 2015 at a blogging conference, and I’m pretty sure I have used it every single day since. It is my absolute favorite seasoning and it tastes amazing on EVERYTHING. Literally, everything. From meat and chicken, to veggies, in casseroles, eggs, on the BBQ, in the oven, on the stove… when I say everything, I mean everything!

The story behind their company is pretty cool, too. Livia was a real person- a very lively woman who was great at many things, especially cooking. She came up with this perfect blend of kosher salt, coarse-ground black pepper, and garlic and would give it away as Christmas presents and hostess gifts. She  passed out her seasoning until she died, at 100 years old. Before she died, she gave her niece, Susan, her blessing to sell the seasoning. Susan and her husband began making it, out of their own kitchen, and soon Livia’s Seasoning Salt was born! For more on their story, and a more in depth look at Livia, you can check out their roots here.

In my kitchen, Livia’s is a stand alone seasoning. Gone are the days of measuring out a bunch of different seasonings. I no longer have to add salt, and pepper, and garlic powder, and onion powder separately… a few dashes of Livia’s and my meal is seasoned. I truly do love and use this stuff daily… so, it’s why I had to personally reach out to Livia’s to see if they would be willing to share their stuff with you. Good news is- they were more than willing! So… our giveaway starts now!

We’re having 5 days of giveaways… that means five winners = 5 chances to win a Livia’s gift box! Head on over to Toned After Twins on Facebook to enter! Good luck!
